Garage Fast Panels will fit standard size garage openings that are listed above. If the height and width are over by 1” or under by 1”, they will still fit. For example: If you order Garage Fast Panels that are 8’ W x 7’ H and your actual door opening is 8’1” W x 7’1” H Garage Fast Panels will still fit assuming your garage door jambs are plumb, the garage door header is level and the concrete is level.
1. Measure the exact width of the garage door opening (from door jamb, not from the weather strips). Make no allowances. WIDTH __________
2. Measure the exact height of the garage door opening (from door header?–not the weather strip–to the floor). Make no allowances. HEIGHT __________
When measuring width, measure from jamb to jamb, not to weather strips. Measure height from concrete to bottom of door header, not to weather strip. If width exceeds more than 1” you may shim Garage Fast Panel C channel out to close up the width. If height exceeds more than 1” you may shim down Garage Fast Panel C channel to required height.
